World Dental Relief, Dr. Ron Lamb, President. I just returned from the hot humid Amazon River in South America. We worked with Steve and Terry Ford career missionaries there for 20 years, who were hosting a medical team and church construction team from Walkerville, West Virginia. More than 1.600 needy people were helped with their medical needs, church services were held and a roof put on the new church under construction. It was a busy week and much accomplished for the people in that community. Your money is helping in all of this….Medical needs, new church building and roof and Church services during that week. The Doctors, Dentists & Construction workers make no charge for their services .

Dr. Ron Lamb and helpers are putting equipment and supplies together for another 40-foot container shipment to Ethiopia in April. Dr. Balikowski met with University and Health Ministry this week in Mekelle to finalize plans for the dental curriculum. We are making good progress on the large long term school projects in Ethiopia.

The work in Haiti is doing well and people are being saved. I wish I could send you a picture of the Church family. Connie Anderson along with Sandrine (she adopted her after her husband, Terry died). They are reaching so many of the mountain people in that poor country. Terry (her husband) is buried there near the Church.

On one trip into Mexico (flying his plane) Tom Hicks tells us: I want to thank the members of the medical team for their sacrifice and hard work. Most of their days were at the minimum 12 hours averaging 100 patients daily. Dr. Goaly our Dentist pulled over 200 teeth. His dental assistant was Roxie Poindexter. I want to thank all who supplied us with shoes. There are hundreds of grateful Indians with good shoes on their feet. THANKS TO ALL WHO GAVE.

Most of you do not know Dr. Warren Lathen, President of the College and Seminary in Venezuela. If you remember some years ago a plane crashed in the swamps of Florida. Most if not all were killed. Dr. Lathen’s son was returning from work on the Seminary there and of course he died. Warren writes to tell me this: “On a Wednesday Dr. David Cosby was teaching on ways we grieve the Holy Spirit, and THE SPIRIT FELL ON THE CLASS, WITH MANY STUDENTS HAVING TEARS STREAMING DOWN THEIR CHEEKS. It was 11:15 am, so David dismissed them for the lunch break and told them to go find a quiet place to let God do His work in them. Later he was teaching from Ezekiel 36 about the seven things God was going to do in the people to help them live in a sacred way to bring honor to His Name. Then 5 students prayed with David for a special infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Amelia Petty recently had some tests done in the Hospital, Gainesville, Georgia. They thought they might need to do some heart surgery but the test allows them to wait. Dr. Dennis and Amelia are supposed to leave for Wales in March. Dr. Dennis will be teaching in the Bible College and they have several meetings planned. Amelia will be singing in all those meetings. We thank God that they can be there for the meetings. We pray for Wales and the people there. Dr. Ed and Mrs. Nina Moore will be there working with them. Dr. Ed is working with the Bible College in Wales. There is such a need for this Bible College to train the men who have been and are being saved and called to preach. I have preached in Wales and know the need that is there. Preachers are invited to go with them. If you are interested we can send you all the details. Wales has been on the mind of Dr. Tolbert Moore for several years. Dr. Tolbert’s wife, Nellie, went home to be with her Lord. She was a great Christian lady. Later Dr. Tolbert had to have Pace Maker put in his chest. He is back on the road, preaching and directing the work of the Gospel Preachers Association. He is one of our nation’s great preachers. God has given him a great work. He has been my friend since 1960,

Pray for Dr. George Lauderdale and his wife Sally. They are one of the most godly couples that I have ever met. This man is one of God’s choice workers. He has worked in India and so many other places that I will not attempt to name then. He has done so much for Israel. Their organization is ‘INTERCESSION FOR ISRAEL.’ He has been house-guest of one of the Prime Ministers of Israel to discuss Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah. They are known around the world and many of our preacher friends will tell you that if God ever had His Hand on a man it was George Lauderdale. His wife Sally is a vital part of their ministry. I wish each one who helps in the WEA outreach could know them personally. He taught Hebrew in our Antioch Baptist College and Seminary.

John and Kim Piet are working in the Philippines. Their Church is reaching and baptizing natives. Their Wednesday night Bible study is great (it is mostly foreign men with Filipina wives) recently they made a trip to the landfill to minister to the people thee. Their job is 24-7. They are to be in the States this year on furlough. I want to have a time when many of you can meet them. I will work that out when they get back.

In some of Dr. Matthew Skariah’s trips to Nigeria he reported that he sat and talked with many villagers who walked for miles on foot, but they are a part of the body of Christ. He met with many village Pastors who are passionate servants of God. Those blessed Pastors would hold all-night prayer vigil for souls. They have no cars, no computers, no secretaries, and not even a bicycle, but they possess something that money can’t buy---Calvary love and passion for souls. Matthew and Susie are the greatest prayer warriors I have ever met.

Every time a young girl or lady walks in the Abortion Alternatives Clinic, either in Elizabethton, TN or Mountain Home, TN, and decides not to have an abortion but to birth that baby…your money is there. A life has been saved. The Supreme Court of the U S tells her it is alright to KILL THAT BABY. MURDER IS THE LAW OF THE LAND. We are told that more than 54 millions human lives have been murdered since the Supreme Court made MURDER the law of the land, ROE v, WADE a landmark decision. Justice White and Rehnquist dissented. Seven members of the Court approve the MURDER OF THE UNBORN.

January 22, 1973. There is one greater than the Supreme Court. THE WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT!

The tickets to go to Wales have been purchased, departure March 28. (Dennis and Amelia will celebrate their 50^th Wedding Anniversary) this is planned to be a 2 months ministry. Dr. Dennis will teach ELEMENTAL THEOLOGY for the students of CWM RHONDDA BIBLE COLLEGE. They will be conducting meetings in Wales.

Your money helps CWM RHONDDA BIBLE COLLEGE, Wales, Seminario Wesleyano de Venezuela (College and Seminary), Venezuela, Antioch Baptist Bible College, Cartersville, Georgia. Rev. John Piet is teaching the Bible in the Philippines. Rev. Howard Gwartney is building a beautiful new Church in Florence Alabama. The Penfield Christian Home, Union Town, Georgia, continues to help men addicted to alcohol and drugs. The men leave there cured of their addiction and a better knowledge of the Bible than they had before. In our next letter I want to give you a good report of the world-wide work that Dr. R.G. Smith is doing. I thank God for the Churches they are building in Africa, Egypt, Lebanon and other parts of the world. Your money is reaching a world.

Continue to pray for AMELIA PETTY. Her recent diagnosis was AORTIC STENOSIS (main valve of the heart not working properly.)
